Introduction

MISSION

  SHU-TE University was founded in August 1997 under its original name SHU-TE Institute of Technology. In August, 2000, the school was recognized as a university and renamed SHU-TE University by the Ministry of Education. During this time, the College of Management was established.

  The mission of the College of Management is to coordinate all the efforts of its departments and two graduate schools towards realizing the mission and vision of SHU-TE University. More so, the purpose of the college is to integrate interrelated available resources in enhancing teaching quality and developing higher standards for academic professionalism consistent with the mandate set by SHU-TE University. The College of Management has also been exerting effort to expand its social services and to globalize its academic activities. The main goal of the college is to cultivate and provide students with a theoretical and practical understanding of business management. .

  In order to face the challenges posed by the economic knowledge era and to fulfill the university’s mission, the College of Management has positioned itself to meet the needs of students and the to train skilled professionals in business administration and promotion. The different programs, graduate schools, and departments that comprise the college aim to address and cover all possible industries that students can be cultivated and trained in. Eight departments, two graduate schools, and one master program have been established as part of the College of Management.

Departments are of 
(1) Business Administration, 
(2) Finance, 
(3) MICE Marketing & Event Management
(4) Leisure and Tourism Management, 
(5) Hospitality and Baking Management
(6) Distribution Management
(7) Recreation and Sport Management, and
(8) Marketing Management. 

Graduate schools are 
(1) the Graduate School of Business Administration, and 
(2) the Graduate School of Finance. 

 Finally, the master program is of MICE and International Trade Marketing.
